Difference Between EZD 3 and SD 3

For some time now I’ve owned EZD 2 and SD 3.  I just upgraded to EZD 3.  It’s still not clear to me what is the difference between EZD 3 and SD 3.   Is there available a checklist of sort or description that helps to clarify this?
