Do you mean that they re-attach as soon as you save – or when you save -> close Logic -> open it again?

Currently – detached windows aren’t saved in the projects, e.g. when you open Superior Drummer 3 they won’t be repositioned. It is done like this because of technical reasons – but we will see if we can change this. I can’t, however. say when or if this will be done. Thanks for the feedback!

Sorry for the delay replying and thanks for your post.

Working in Logic with SD3 and a detached window.
Use “save as” for logic project.
    Project is saved.
    I haven’t closed Logic.
After a short delay, the detached SD3 window re-attaches itself.

I hadn’t noticed before but if the project is saved using “save” there is no problem.

Just a minor thing but it would be handy if the window stayed detached.

Ah, ok. I think that is caused by Logic reloading all plugins (it’s actually loading a pre-saved project for each plugin). When Superior Drummer 3 re-loads the project the windows are re-attached. Logic does this in some situations, same when you change buffer size in Audio Settings for example).

I know about this system, because I have some plugins where this “load and save” project actually clears some plugins for me, which is annoying.

We will see if we will make any changes in Superior, regarding saving detached windows in projects. Thanks for the feedback!
