Does anybody know how long the Drumtracker demo is good for?
I need to replace some drum tracks this weekend, so I want to give Drumtracker a good run through. If it works well for me, I’ll have to buy it, but how long does the demo work? Any other restrictions?

OK, I just used it for the first time, so now I know the restrictions: you can’t actually do the conversion to MIDI once you’re rendered everything, deleted any unwanted hits, etc. I have to say this is, in my opinion, a dumb restriction of the demo. I got a good sense of how to use the program with the demo, but I have absolutely no idea how well it will work to convert the files and import them into my DAW. Maybe it’ll work great. Or maybe it’ll just be a bit more complicated than I want to deal with. I’d like to at least try it out before buying…

Ahh, yes. Gotta love the triple post.
Well, it turns out that AudioMidi.com has Drumtracker as one of their “no-brainer” deals right now, so it’s only $20. Pretty incredible deal. So, I’m just going to pick it up from them. I still think it would be nice to be able to do, say, one conversion in the demo mode, though. It obviously won’t matter for me at this point, but for future potential buyers.
Anyways, I’m really, really glad Toontrack is participating with AudioMidi.com on this kind of deal. It’s pretty amazing.
Thanks, guys.
