I have Ez Keys and EZ drummer and love them both. Great tools.
But this has been driving me crazy esp with EZ keys. How do I remove a loops from the song builder? So typically I drag a loop into the song builder track and then change chords/modify drums as needed. Then I test it against the song I’m working on. But I can’t figure out how to remove loops that doesn’t work for my song. I try highlighting and pressing the delete key; I try highlighting and cutting. I try “replace;” no luck.
There must be some really simple thing I’m missing? How to I remove a midi loop from the song builder?
Thanks
PS I’m using Logic Pro X in Mavericks
Thank you, but I’m using a trackpad, no mouse. Right-click has never been a big part of Apple world. I’m assuming (not at the DAW at the moment)–that some combination of fingers will bring up the menu that lets me remove?
I have used ‘right-click’ options on ALL of my Apple products, my Macbook Pro and my Mac Pro with a TrackPad and/or MagicMouse, my iPad, etc.
Granted, I come from a very extensive Windows-based history prior to using Apple products.
Anyhow, first check your TrackPad System Preferences to enable the “Secondary Click” option, if not already enabled.

Control click does it–same as, say, saving an image or a link.
I knew it was a dumb question. Toontrack, maybe think about making it more obvious?
I sure would like to see the delete key added as a shortcut…been using EZKeys for a week now and still instinctively try it and then realize I have to right-click.
That said, I’m totally digging EZKeys : )
sorry dumb question how do you get that screen
