Hi all,
I’m loving SD3 but have a few persistent workflow issues:
1) My e-kit has a low attack on the kick, so I have to adjust it every time I load a kit. Is there a way to save a velocity envelope to so that it applies to all kicks?
2) this is a total noob question, but when I make a change to a kit, can I save the change to THAT kit or do i have to “save as” a brand new kit?
3) I believe this is a Reaper issue, but I’ll ask here just in case someone else has seen it… Reaper forgets my multi-out mapping from SD3. I get all my SD3 outputs mapped to different tracks, save the project and close. When I re-open, all the SD3 outs are all back to a single stereo track.
Thanks in advance!
1: Depending on your kit I would adjust the gain or sensitivity of your kick on your module. Setup a user kit designed just for SD3.
then all your kicks will be correct to you in SD3
2:If you modify a stock preset save as a user kit. I have tons of user kits.
3: I cant help with reaper I use Studio One 5. But try saving your session as a template. This works for me in Studio one. I have multi out templates and I have a stereo template.
Hope this helps you
Jake
