It should just work if you save as default when you have the kit you want open. It does with mine.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

    Hi zenwarlord,

if you start the SD3 Standalone app, does it load the correct project as Default? If not, if you set the Project as Default in the Standalone, close and re-open does it load then?

    This might help.

This works same way in both SD3 and EZD3 but slight subtlety that can be confusing. When you save project as say “andrew Yamaha Kit.ezd3p” in EZD3 (or .sd3p in SD3) then all all information is retained and you can “set as default project” and all info will open every time you open EZD3 (or SD3).

The subtlety is that when you open either EZD3 (or SD3) it will load the default info however it will show “project untitled” in the dropdown even though it has all the same info as “andrew Yamaha Kit.ezdp”.

Hope this helps (see screenshot – for SD3 but same in EZD3)

    cheers, Andrew
