Default module sounds also triggering

Hello,

I am using Alesis Surge with EZDrummer 2. When I click the kit pieces in EZD2 I can hear the sounds perfectly fine, the graphic shows the drums triggering when I hit them. However, the sound that comes out when I hit them is still the sound set in the module.

Does anyone know why this is happening? Is this a mixing issue?

EZdrummer version: 2.1.8
Operating system: Windows 10

If you’re not using Standalone mode with EZD2, is the track you have EZD2 loaded on  a “record enabled” track?

You should explain with more detail what your setup is, how you’re hearing the Alesis. Standalone or DAW? Are you using a midi interface, an audio interface, or just plugging straight into the computer?

*read page 38-40 in the manual if you haven’t already.
