I have seen other posts with similar issues in other hosts. Some of my kits are loading completely in EZD 2 running in Cakewalk (windows 10). Some are not, notably Vintage kits and Reggae kits. Latest EZD2 version and EZX updates loaded as of today, 4/10/2022. With the vintage Levee kit, only the bass drum will load. For all partial loading kits, cymbals are not present. I have checked the mixer and all channels seem to be normal, i.e. nothing muted or soloed. I have confirmed that EZD2 is receiving MIDI, e.g. the bass drum sounds when I play a pattern against the Levee kit. These is no difference in running a MIDI file inside EZD and playing the same file into EZD2 from a different (MIDI) track.
I should mention that this problem does not occur in the standalone version of EZD2–the various kits load completely.
Please advise if you have an answer. EZD is my go-to drum synth, and I want it working within my DAW.
Can’t say with absolute certainty, but most problems like this are to do with an incorrectly configured drum map.
See if this helps:
Hi lightningrick,
if you run the Toontrack Product Manager and check the individual products, does it tell you that everything is installed?
When you write that the kits are not loaded completely, does it mean that you do not get sound when hitting a MIDI controller, click the drums in the interface or both?

John
