Hey Everyone!
I just bought SD3 and everything worked fine except the cymbal chokes. They get stuck and the Edge Hit stays a choked hit until I restart the software. That happens in Standalone and in DAW. I loaded the MPS-750 Preset.
In the Midi Monitor it says Aftertouch 49 (see Screenshot)
Sorry I am completely new to this and I’m having a hard time figuring this out.
BTW I’ve connected my E-drum over USB (only port on the Millenium) in a USB3 Port. Does that matter? Also I use a Windows 10 Machine.
Thanks in advance!
Sven
Hi,
first I want to ask if you are updated to the latest version (currently 3.1.2)?
Next, if you do not get a reset of the sent AfterTouch from your module, maybe you need to check cables?

Hey thanks for the answer.
Yes I am updated to 3.1.2.
I’ve used 2 different USB cables but still have the same issue.
With this drumset the first cymbal and the ride cymbal are connected via this big cable squid. I tested it and it turns out the plug on this cablesquid is damaged, so I’m currently waiting for the replacement.
BUT the second crash cymbal is connected via a separate cable and I’m having the same problems with that cymbal aswell. So I’m starting to think that my (1 month old) Drum module maybe the problem here.
So if someone at Toontrack or from the community could assure me, that his or her MPS 750 works flawlessly with SD3, then I know for a fact, that its my drum module.
Ok it been a month of trying everything I can but the problem still remains.
I’ve swapped the Cymbal Pads, the Drum Moduke, all the cables, the USB Cable, even switched to Mac BUT STILL no cigar.
I’m pretty much out of ideas.
If there is a preset of the MPS 750 in Superior Drummer and the aftertouch function exists, how can it be, that no matter what I’ll try, it still doesn’t work?
