Hi
Bought Custom & Vintage SDX and get an error saying missing libraries when I try to load some of the Peter Henderson factory sets, The drum kits are only a little over 200 MB when loaded.
Hi,
Yes Toontrack is aware of the problem, it is documented in this thread as well;Â https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/custom-and-vintage-missing-libraries/

Hi
Thanks for the response.
Should the loaded kit only be 200MB or so? I think I saw one that was around 400MB as well. Only downloaded last night so know nothing about this SDX.
All the other SDX files are GB’s when loaded. SD3 has been out for 12months this problem would have to be known of for that long as well.
If they are working on it they are super slow. It does not look like they are doing anything about it.
Thanks
Neil.
You didn’t own SD2 prior to SD3 did you?

No, only bought the program a couple of months ago, checked on the site before purchasing the SDX files and saw where it said all SDX files work in superior drummer 3 so assumed any for sale would be OK.
So the history is, when SD2 was released, Avatar was the core Library. C&V was developed and released and it called some resources from the core SD2 library (Avatar). However Avatar is no longer the core library, hence the problem.
Like I said, this is not the first time the issue has popped up, so they are aware of it.

Take a look in this thread:Â https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/sd-3-1-2-customvintage-sdx-td50-crash-when-using-specific-presets/
I’ve posted a workaround in there.

I don’t think they’re gonna fix it anytime soon. Anyway, i purchased New York Studios vol 1 while it is on sale and this contains the missing SL-Avatar library and the core sounds from SD2. why they couldn’t have just patched the SDX prior to release, god knows.
