While making custom drum parts on SD3, I have encountered a problem once again that has ruined my progress for the third time this week. After working on a song for hours, suddenly the intricate drum patterns devolve into thudding, plodding stomps that are out of sync with the rest of the music. When I look on the grid editor, It appears almost as if my notes were quantized, but done very badly, most notably with many of the notes stacked on top of each other. For example, a part that was once once a snare followed by a kick then followed by a floortom is now just one single hit of all drums at the same time. It does this for the entire track in an instant. My drum patterns that were filled with 1/128th and 1/64th notes are now just stacked mostly as 1/32 and 1/16 notes. The WORST thing about all this is that there is no option to undo this, as after this happens I expect there to have been some accidental change like a tempo change or quantization, but the log appears as if nothing was changed, which has me completely bewildered as to why this is happening.
After the first time this happened I thought i had just put input something strange as far as settings or options, so I started from a fresh track, expecting it to do the track, but its occured 2 more times. I am saving sepereate tracks every 10 min because It is inevitable it will happen again. Really hoping this is something common, as this has me completely destroyed after each time. Begging for some kind of insight from anyone on this.
