cURL 52 error – TPM wont DL EZ3

I’ve been trying to download this all day, I was a prepaid customer. I’m getting a cURL 52 error in the Toontrack Product Manager, it hasn’t downloaded a single bit of information. Me being a pretty techie person, a cURL 52 error generally means that something is being requested by HTTP over HTTPS. I can’t believe I can’t get it to download, anyone have any ideas?

I haven’t seen that before but 52 should mean CURLE_GOT_NOTHING (“Nothing was returned from the server, and under the circumstances, getting nothing is considered an error.”) Check if you have any proxy option active (through the button in PM settings) and turn them off. Please try different networks if you can or using a VPN. If everything fails, contact support so that they can relay it to the CDN support.

Thank yo Olof! The first thing I did was change the ip range on my proxy, then I tethered the Mac with my iPad to get on a different network. I am still not able to download a single bit of data. I have a VPN I can connect to in Sweden, I am going to try that as a last resort. If I can’t retrieve the data from that connection I will open up a support ticket. It also occurred to me I may have a corrupted product manager so I am going to update that as well.

I just wanted to note here that the resolution to this issue was to just download it from the website while logged in. As long as I didn’t use the Toontrack Product Manager I was fine. Good luck everyone!

I think it has something to do with the system proxy settings then.

But you can’t download the library from the website. However, I see that you have downloaded everything through PM now. How did you do it?

Once I downloaded EZD3 and installed it the product manager made the core library and Pop/Rock EZX available. Weird huh?
