I just bought EZ drummer 2.0 (sounds amazing. happy with purchase) however I’m using Cubase LE 5 which a recieved for free with a Line 6 Interface and I can NOT figure out how to get EZD2 to show up in the DAW. I tried copying the .dll file and all that but I must be missing someting? or is it possible these two softwares just aren’t compatible at all? I can’t seem to find ANY google hits pertaining to ezdrummer TWO and Cubase LE 5 specifically…
do any greater minds than I have a step by step walk through on this? or am i just S.O.L and should just bite it and buy a different DAW? I always kind of thought Steinberg was the way to go.
Hi
Please see the compatibility chart for EZDrummer 2 at the bottom of this link.

Cubase LE is not one of Toontrack’s supported or tested hosts and therefore we can not guarantee operation.
IF cubase LE however has a plugin manager and allows 3rd party plugins you could try using the plugin manager to add the path to the EZDrummer 2 plugin.
The location of the EZdrummer 2 plugin can be found by launching EZDrummer 2 in stand alone and then clicking Help > show plugin path. Then use the Cubase plugin manager to set the path to this same location.
