In Cubase 4, I recorded a pop kit on track one. Then I put a Latin Percussion kit on track two. The first track says it’s one Midi Ch 1, second says its on Ch 2. But both tracks play back on whichever kit I worked with last. I can’t get the tracks to play their respective kits. What am I doing wrong, please? Frankie G.
Are you loading your 2 instances of EZdrummer as 2 ‘Instrument Tracks’ (from the Project menu or right/clicking in the track list and selecting “Add Instrument Track” on the context menu)? Loading 1 Instrument track with the Pop kit and 1 with the LP kit.
Or are you loading Instrument Channels [Devices menu, select “VST Instrument” then choosing EZdrummer (loading the Pop kit), and loading EZdrummer in the second VST Instrument slot (and loading the LP kit)]? Then adding 2 MIDI tracks and pointing 1 to the EZdrummer instance with the Pop (setting MIDI output) kit and the other MIDI track to the other instance of EZD with the LP loaded.
Both of the above methods should yeild the results you’re looking for i.e. 1 track of Pop kit and another track with LP kit.

Thanks, Perfect. I used number One but I’ll be circling back trying to try Two as well.
