Hi – I’ve loaded EZ Drummer as an Instrument in Studio 4 and want it to play existing midi drum tracks. So I’ve downloaded the EZ drum map and installed it. But when I select it for the track and play it, the sounds are all wrong. They’re exactly the same as when there’s no drum map in use. I can’t see what’s wrong. Can anybody help please? (I’ve not used drum maps before so maybe I’m missing something basic.)
Andy
In the inspector on the left click use drum map and chose the one you have downloaded ( while the EZ midi track is selected) You can also create your own they are really easy to do
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
Where did you download it from, couldn’t find any on their site? In Cubase you have to go to the Drum Map Setup, click Functions, Load, and choose the desired file. This has to be done to every project you want to use this map on. Also, check that your input note and output note are the same in the setup as well.
