    Hi,

I’m not sure where exactly this problem derives from, but first of all before we investigate any further, please make sure you have the latest updates for both Cubase and EZ Drummer (I noticed you haven’t downloaded the 1.2.0 update, so that’s a start).

Thank you so much!!! That worked!!! I am using a 64bit edition of win 7 ultimate. I noticed the updates for ezdrummer are listed for the 32 only. Are there any 64 support coming out soon??? Thank you all again! I really like this software!! Best sounding drums! I really can’t wait to get more kits! Back to the music!

    Thanks again!!!

Are you running a 64-bit host (Cubase 4 LE)? I’m not sure there is a 64-bit version of Cubase 4 LE. I’m not sure.

I don’t think so. I got it with Lexicon alpha interface. ($75 from Guitar Center) I wanted to see if it was something I would like before I went out and spent a ton of money. I am going to purchase cubase 5 with in the next month. Just my OS is 64bit. When I purchased cubase I was running vista 64 then purchased win 7 64bit ultimate. It does crash from time to time. I’m not sure if I’m trying to do to much. I have plenty of horse power on my computer. AMD Quad 2.3, 4GB RAM.

Should/do they make cubase 5 in 64?? Any suggestion or help would be great! Thank you for your time and help!!!!!

My view on the whole ’64-bit host or not’ depends on if you have a soundcard that has drivers that support 64-bits, a host that supports 64-bits, and all of your effect VST and VSTi all have 64-bit versions.

Personally I have a 5 year old P4 3gHz 2GB RAM with 2 UAD-1 cards for effects (plus some native plugins). I run a working studio and it works great for me now. I do plan on upgrading to a new computer sometime next spring and it will most likely have Windows 7 64-bit. But, until all my effects (UAD, Antares, Powercore, et al) have 64-bit versions I’ll probably use the 32-bit version of Cubase as I just don’t have the time to mess around with things not working. I’d be out of business.

Basically what I’m saying is that it all depends if your current setup works fine for your needs whether to jump to a 64-bit host or not.
