    Hi,

I guess you are running Cubase 12 in Native Silicon mode in Ventura? Cubase 12 Silicon Native on Mac does not support VST2 plug-ins, only Native versions of VST3 plug-ins.
Try running Cubase in Rosetta mode by finding the app in the Applications folder, selecting it and either right-click and ‘Get info’ or press Cmd+I. Tick the ‘Open using Rosetta’ box.

Then start Cubase and you should find EZmix2.

    Hi John:

I’m now running Cubase (13 BTW, not 12) in Rosetta mode, but it still can’t find EZmix2.

I know that some people have experienced problems because they tried to add EZmix as a VST, but I’m trying to add it as an effects insert, not as a VST. So that’s not the issue.

Would you suggest uninstalling/reinstalling as the next step?

    Thanks.

    EZmix version: 2.2.4
    Operating system: macOS Ventura (13)

Today I started Cubase, and it automatically scanned all of my plugins. I’m guessing this is because I’m running Cubase in Rosetta mode.

After the scan completed, Cubase was able to find EZmix2.

Problem solved. Thanks for your help.
