This is similar to a recent post, but with Cubase, and on a Mac Studio (Ventura 13.5). I recently switched from PC to Mac, so perhaps that’s part of the problem. I still don’t know my way around a Mac.
Anyway…I’m trying to insert EZmix2 on a vocal track, but Cubase can’t find it. However, in the Toontrack portal, EZmix2 shows as installed and ready to use.
FWIW I’m seeing Toontrack products in at least two places on my Mac’s internal drive:
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Hi,
I guess you are running Cubase 12 in Native Silicon mode in Ventura? Cubase 12 Silicon Native on Mac does not support VST2 plug-ins, only Native versions of VST3 plug-ins.
Try running Cubase in Rosetta mode by finding the app in the Applications folder, selecting it and either right-click and ‘Get info’ or press Cmd+I. Tick the ‘Open using Rosetta’ box.
Then start Cubase and you should find EZmix2.

Hi John:
I’m now running Cubase (13 BTW, not 12) in Rosetta mode, but it still can’t find EZmix2.
I know that some people have experienced problems because they tried to add EZmix as a VST, but I’m trying to add it as an effects insert, not as a VST. So that’s not the issue.
Would you suggest uninstalling/reinstalling as the next step?
Thanks.
