I just bought EZD2 and I’m loving the results I’m getting. I have a couple of issues. First, how can you get the transport in Cubase and EZD2 to sync? It would be nice if you could start and stop playback and set loop points from the EZD2 interface (like you can in Reason). It’s kind of a pain to have to constantly switch back to the Cubase screen to do this. Second, I tried to copy and paste just the hihat pattern from a pattern in the browser to a clip in the song creation window and it wouldn’t overwrite the existing pattern. I tried it with kick drum and it worked just fine. Any ideas?
1. Unfortunately you can’t control Cubase (or any other host that I am aware of) from a plugin, which means that EZdrummer 2 can’t control the loop area for the host, and it can’t start and stop Cubase’s play back. You have to control this from Cubase.
2. Did you see if there was a “Hi-Hat” and a “Hi-Hat Pedal” in the Paste menu to the block? If that’s the case, paste them both. If there’s only one and it won’t work by pasting it, it might be a bug that we should look into.
