Dont know if you understood the question in the topic name, so I’ll explain it in little more details below:
I made a song in Cubase with EZdrummer + bass and Electric guitars (I’d say, it’s a typical hard rock song). This song ends with a choked cymbal and a kick drum and all instruments ends at the same time. But I here ringning from the drums going on many seconds after this abrubt end and it doesnt sound so good actually, it kind of annoys the hell out of me . So I’d like to know how I can completely kill all sounds instantly after that choked cymbal and kick drum. Do I need to use gates for the drums or something? Would anyone know how to accomplish this? Maybe this is more of a mixing/mastering question of Cubase than a pure EZdrummer question, perhaps? I thought maybe someone here with better knowledge than me could help out a little!
Ask if you dont understand my problem/question (English isnt my major language). Or I could upload a snippet of the song so you can hear what I’m talking about?
Keep on rockin’ in the free World !!

Hi Robin,
You probably can work with automationtracks? Than you can minimize the volume-automationtrack to zero.
In the operation-manual about Cubase 5, you’ll find instructions from page 195 to page 210.
Hope I did help you.
