I’m not sure about your specific issue Bart but I had no end of problems setting up multi-channel outs as a Track instrument in Cubase.

I now use SD3 as a Rack instrument instead. It’s not quiet as streamlined but once you get it setup properly everything just works and you get better control.

I’m on Windows but I presume it’s the same on Mac.

Thank You Glowtone! Never had this issue before. I usually create a rack instrument myself and may have gotten complacent with attention to detail. I’ve been using EZ or SD since the late 2000’s so every so often I need to be reminded of what I should be doing. I did find a great video on youtube in which the fella actually had the same issue and simply created the kick track and reassigned the kick channel to it. Thanks again Glow!

Responding to my last and to you as well Glowtone. Thanks again kindly! That’s exactly what it was. Need to create a rack instrument. Then go to SD3’s Mixer and scroll to the mixer tab to the left. There one can find the “Apply Multichannel Outputs” in the dropdown menu. Once that is complete to the right in the Cubase project window will be the VSTi/Media/CR/Meter window. Go to VSTi and next to where it says ‘SprrDmm3″ there is a small drop arrow. Clicking that arrow will give two options “input options” and “Activate Outputs.” Click on Activate Outputs then select “All Outputs.” Wallah!! Really appreciate the help Glow! Bart
