cubase 5 essentials

having a bit of troubble with the mulit channel ??i cant get it to work when i do it all i can here is the bass drum??then when i drop the drum files into cubase 5 essentials i just get 1 track not all the separate kits in its own channel

Are you a VST Instrument Channel (loading EZD in the VST Instrument Rack) or are you loading EZD in an Instrument Track?

Instrument Tracks are limited to Stereo operation only.

Loading EZD via the VST Instrument Rack would be the way to go for multi-out. Make sure you open the VST Instrument panel (F11) and click the ‘Activate Outputs’ (see pic below) and turn on the multiple channels available.
