    Hi,

first I would like to ask you to update to the latest version (currently 3.2.4), then it would help if you could provide some audible example, like an mp3 file or link to a screen recording that describes what you are experiencing.

    BR,
    John

    Hello Mr. Rammelt,

Thank you for your reply.  I will check to see if I have the latest version, and update if I don’t.  If the problem continues, I will try to make a recording.

    Thank you!

I had a similar issue where a full crash sounded like a muted crash in the mix.  After a lot of head scratching I tracked down the cause.  The OH mic channel was routed to a compressor bus along with a number of other instruments.  The compressor would bring the crash out quite loud initally, but as soon as another instrument (toms in my case) were struck they would override the crash tail in the compression channel effectively cutting off the tail and causing the crash to sound like it was muted.

    Hello GVP,

I’m at the very beginning of just creating the midi tracks and I don’t have any processing on the tracks at this time, so I don’t think that I am having the same problem.  But thank you for letting me know!  It’s just strange that all the others are fine, but this one hit isn’t.  My Toontrack Manager tells me all of my software is up-to-date, so I’ll have to try and record what is happening as suggested by Mr. Rammelt.

As well it would you be able to save and post the SD3 project in a zip file, in SD3 File > Save As.

Alternatively you could compress and post the .song file from Studio One. (With no other audio of course)

I was able to find the problem!

It seems that the the after-touch was changed somehow for that particular note, though I was doing nothing with after-touch in the entire.  I noticed a “line” in the background of the track that didn’t look right, and I was able to determine that was the problem.

Thank y0u for all of your help and all of your suggestions.  I appreciated them!

If you triggered from a keyboard then most will send aftertouch if you press the key down. Worth cleaning up if you don’t use it,

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

    Hello Mark,

I had not used a keyboard.  I was inputting MIDI via Studio One edit window.  But thank you for the information you sent.  I’ll keep it in mind.
