Crash bow articulations in EZX packs

I’m using dual-zone cymbal pads. None of my crashes in expansion packs have bow articulations. The core library has bow and edge available. Is there a way to add it? Possibly by pulling the bow articulation from a core library crash? I just can’t see how to do it. Thanks.

EZXs after EZD3 was released have that articulation.

You cannot import just an articulation, it must be the entire cymbal.

If you need exactly what you’re requesting. You must use a DAW. Then load 2 instances of EZD at the same time. And use that second instance  for the cymbal articulation you want by assigning it the note it needs on the Edrums page.

Thank you. I’m relatively new, so trying to understand. Not understanding what you mean by EZXs after EZD3. I just bought Southern Soul and it has no crash bow articulations. Is there a way to see which articulations exist before buying a pack? And I can’t just assign the bow articulation from the core library? Thanks again.

Shootie is say ezdrummer expansion packs (EZX) made after ezdrummer 3 (EZD3) was made.

Look at the system requirements at the bottom of the product pages. If it says it requires EZD2 or EZD1, then it will not have those articulations. If it requires EZD3, i’m “pretty sure” it will have those articulations. Every EZX I’ve reviewed the past year has them, but haven’t seem every single one yet.
