Do you get the same behavior with the Standalone S3?

Funny enough, the Standalone seems to be gone… Maybe the Manager removed it with the installation files? Windows told me the file is no longer there, and the .exe is not in the installation folder…

In the manager, Installation Status is “Installed”…

The PM cleanup would only remove it if it was installed into the same folder location it was downloaded to.

Try uninstalling the plugin (not the sounds), and reinstalling.

    Scott,

I’ve recently purchased a new 16′ mbp and in the process of setting up all apps, etc.   I’m now onto SD3.  All my sounds are on an external drive and I recently downloaded the SD3 program.  When launching it, I received the error message “no EZX’s or MIDI libraries were found in the selected folder”

When you say “try uninstalling the plugin” what exactly are you referring to?  Uninstalling the SD3 program? SD3-error

Do I even need these libraries?

    Thanks in advance.

do I reinstall from product Mgr? If so I don’t want to use another 40 gig of my computers memory.

i have the SD3 on an external drive.

The product manager should detect that your MIDI is missing. You can then download the update through the PM (it’s not very big) and have it install the MIDI.

Looking at your screenshot it says that your MIDI has not been installed yet. Did you hit the red button?
