Copying between song tracks

Hi all

I have a project in which I can’t decide which way to play a verse. So I need two versions to compare. I have my first version (track one) which I will keep, and I now have a duplicate of it (track one copy, using ‘duplicate current song track’) which I can work on. That’s no problem, and I’ll end up with the two slightly different versions.

The question is, if I need to, can I copy part of the copy track (i.e. the modified verses) into the original one? I can’t see how to swap content between the two.
