I’m having trouble understanding why the parts that I copy have new velocity patterns assigned to them when I paste them. This only happens some of the time, but I don’t understand what causes the difference.
Edit: Nevermind, it seems it has to do with the “Humanize” button.
Yes. In the More menu in the Humanization panel you can find the option to “Re-Humanize” when notes are pasted. This way, the humanization of the notes that you paste gets adjusted to the surrounding notes. Re-Humanize when pasting humanized notes is enabled by default.
