!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HI there, Please I need some help.
I have all drum players and now on SD3. My main problem is I can’t find how to copy my midi mapping from one customization library to another.
In Sd2 I was able to make my own midi mapping for the DAw and save as preset.
Note: I’m not talking edrums!!!! that section can’t help me. I’m talking to use in my Daw’s piano roll (editing sequencer).
the default mapping is not for me. and for every time i load a kit i dont have time to be draging mappings as that is not convienient at all for me as I have very large custom drums.
PLease this was in sd2 and if it’s not in sd3 that should be a basic feature.
When I load the kits from SD2 It loads the way I want ie. carries over the midi mapping keys settings. but i need to be able to apply it on other custom kits (the sam family)
NOTE: the presets do com up in SD3 however, the problem is that the they don’t load in the midi mapping section i think it loads something in the E Drum Section but not what i have….
Also Sd 2 was able to save many custom preset for mixer alone, things like bleed alone, phasing alone. sd3 lacks some of that flexibility. I’ve spent a lot of time building these kits and settings them up and being able isolate certain presets to load is great for a problem like that for example midi key mapping and flipping phases only without affecting anythings else… sd2 seems to have done better in that regards.
Feature Requests
can we have 1- 5 star ratings on grooves that would be nice instead of just 1 flat star
Also can we have an area where we can store and categorize in a user custom folder our favorite drums attaching attaching 1-5 star to which one we like most to least. ( fav snare, hats, and toms)
Hi,
when you create your own MIDI mapping, you still do this on the MIDI In/E-drums settings page even if you don’t use E-drums.
If you created MIDI presets in Superior 2, they should show up in the bottom of the MIDI Presets list when ‘Use Preset’ is enabled.
If you apply your own MIDI Preset to your Default Project and Set Current to Default, SD3 will start up with your MIDI Preset applied.
When it comes to mixer presets, you have the Channel Effects Presets and the individual Effects modules presets.
Feature requests are better posted in the ‘Requests & Feedback’ section.
