Control Superior Drummer kit selection/change from Roland TD50 Drumkit

Hi

I have Windows 10 Pro, Reaper, Roland TD50VK and a recent purchase of Superior Drummer 3 and Orchestral Percussian SDX (all latest/current versions) . I am (maily) triggering Superior Drummer through the TD50 based drumkit.

From my drumkit (not near my PC) I would like to control/change the kit used by Superior Drummer. Is there a solution to this problem using Superior Drummer or Reaper or Windows (will even buy additional software/hardware if required)?

Hi,

direct kit switching from module to the SD3 standalone is currently not possible.

Hopefully one of the E-drummer users will chime in with a nifty solution, it shouldn’t be impossible if you are using a combination of host/saves/MIDI messages.

There’s no way currently to control SD3 remotely but what you can do is get an iPad and install a display extender app like duet display and mount it on the rack of your td-50 and control Sd3 from there, provided is in the same room and connected to the same wifi, that’s what I did and works like a charm.
