basic connection is midi out of mimic to midi in of the midi interface you have connected to your computer. In sd3 choose the midi interface in midi settings. In edrum settings choose the mimic preset. In audio settings choose your audio interface asio driver. It should then work.
let us know which part if this process you don’t understand.

I was going to write something snarky about reading the manual so I downloaded it and the only thing about making a digital connection to a computer so you could use the module and pads to trigger sounds on the computer is a picture of the back of the module and shows the 5 pin MIDI I/O connections and that’s it. No procedure or diagram about how to do what you want. Like Mark said you need to connect the MIDI out of the module to the input of a MIDI interface connected to your computer. Some audio interfaces have a MIDI connector you can use. Being you’re on a Mac you can make the settings in either audio/MIDI setup directly in MacOS or via a menu selection in SD3 which will bring up that MacOS utility. Don’t forget to select the Mimic preset in SD3’s edrum/MIDI menu.
It seems myopic of Pearl to assume that their sounds are so awesome that you’ll never need to use other sounds on a computer.
