Yes.

It gives your current computer a name so Toontrack can keep track of which computer is allowed to use the product.

Toontrack allows many separate installations, but only 2 active computers at once. To keep track of this, each computer with a Toontrack installation must have a unique name.

I name mine, for example, “Studio”, and “Laptop”.

Where can I register my computer as: Studio?

On the very first time you launch Product Manager you are prompted to name your computer.

If you want to rename it to something else go to the Product Manger top menus..

Tools>Options>Computer Name.
