Comparing EZD2 to 3 on one preset

So in previous songs I used mainly EZD2 – Modern w/ Dry Rock patch. I liked it because it seemed tighter and punchier than others.

I noticed in EZD3 I can load the same kit and patch but to my ears it sounds softer and less tight. It sounds similar but possibly slightly washier.

Anyone else notice a diff with that patch in 2 VS 3?

Also, I would like to just start using 3 but have not found any other kit/patch that sounds similar…anyone know of a kit / patch in 3 that would sound similar – tight and dry? I even tried RAW in 3 but still not the same.
