Compare 2 presets in Superior drummer 3

Hi!

I have 2 presets sounding just a little different from each other. I want to easily see what the difference is, but here are a million settings! Is there any easy way to figure this out ?

There are many differences between the presets, but one can say that there are 3 main differences: the drum kit, the volume of different drum kit parts, and the effects.

• If you want to compare presets, you can either run two instances of SD3 in a DAW (Logic, Cubase, or similar).
  • If you run 2 instances, you can enable Cache mode – so no samples are loaded into RAM until they are played.
• Load one preset, take screenshot of the mixer and take notes of which drum kit that’s loaded, then load the other preset and compare with the screenshot.

Was just wondering the same thing – the loading time makes if hard to quickly A/B two different kit presets. But yes, I guess I can just load two instances of SD3.

For those of us with loads of RAM though, it would be nice to be able to load two kits at once and instantly A/B within the same instance of SD3.

One other tip btw for anyone getting familiar with SD3 – early on I bounced down audio from the same midi file but played on each of the 7 basic kits – helps to get an idea of the difference in sound e.g. between Ludwig/Yamaha etc.
