Is it possible to change the colours of the application?

I find the whole white or light grey on darker shades of grey background difficult to see. A different colour scheme might be easier to see (for me at least).

I’m using a 4K 3440×1440 and two 1280×1440 screens at slightly different scaling %ages, but as there is often a lot of stuff on screen at the same time some of the fonts remain quite small.

This entire black/dark grey look is very popular at the moment in many music applications, but for a lot of users it is difficult to adjust to. At least Steinberg provide the means to change many aspects of the colours used in Cubase and Nuendo, to improve legibility.

It’s not currently possible to adjust the contrast, but I’ll add it to our feature request list from users. We have discussed this, and have built the software so it will be possible for us to add such a feature. I can’t say when, or if, this will be done, but we’ll look into it!

In the meantime – have you set your screens to optimal brightness, contrast, and other settings available?
