Collaboration with other artists using EZ drummer

I have a questions and Ive tried searching but what I am looking at doing is collaborating with other artist in another country.   We both use EZ drummer and we want to send the midi info to each other.  Is there a way of doin that so all we would have to do is create a Instrument using Studio one and drag in in?  Or is there more of a process?  Thanks for the help!

In Studio One 6, File – Convert to – MIDI File or right click your midi track and choose Export Selection and set Save as type to MIDI File. I don’t know if earlier builds are the same.
