Having trouble getting the closed hi hat to stay closed with Alesis pedal. When you hit the cymbal it is open, press the pedal it closes, but when you hit again it is open even though the pedal is still down. Midi note numbers match up . ???
Can you record MIDI when you play like this in a DAW? It sounds like the hi-hat is sending some strange CC values here, so it would be useful to be able to analyze that. Either check the CC, or if you want help with that, post the MIDI file here!
