I’ve seen a few comments on Twitter and FB in response to Toontrack posts about this – all generally very very positive – has anyone here taken the plunge and care offer a their thoughts?
In particular I’d be keen to know about the MIDI grooves that come with it – are they generic rock riffs or something more specific or song related?
I didn’t get it. It’s pretty expensive and I can get near enough that tone from the other two by using EQ etc.
I was interested to see how many new grooves it came with and what they were like but haven’t heard many examples..
I’m beginning to wonder if I am invisible on this forum, I have put a few posts up and got no replies at all?

EZbass version: 1.0.6
Operating system: Windows 10
Not invisible Andy – I can relate to your thought process – I’m not sure that the sound of the bass has advanced that much in recent years (sorry bassists – just what I listen to not putting you down at all) so for me it’s about getting the right bass part. Honestly with the way you can import tracks into EZBass to get a good bass track I don’t even use the supplied MIDI that much.
Thanks for replying. I got replies to the other posts I put up as well so it looks like I’m visible again.
I tend to make my own basslines too but I find the professionally played ones helpful to study, see how they did that, especially with funk style playing..
