Hello,
while working with EZkeys, and after setting all the chords for my song – some chords change after I remove notes from the editor, I don’t like it, is there a way to lock the chords?
i use Cubase elements 12.
Do you keep changing the Key which is near the Transport? If so it has a No Transpose Submenu.

OK. So as an example, If I remove the root note of the chord, EZKeys2 will do the alphabet math with the remaining notes, and with those remaining notes you’ll have the formula for a different chord since one of the main notes are missing. Is that what’s happening?
You could give an example.

I don’t know if it’s the root notes, but for example: I pick a melody, and then delete few very low notes or very high notes which I don’t like – the chord changes.
You can try it yourself, it doesn’t make much sense.
Ya, if y0u have a Cmaj7 (C,E,G,B) and you remove the “lowest note”, the chord changes to a Emin. Or if you remove the highest note the chord changes to a C. This is what Shootie was saying? I did not know it would do that, but of course, that would be technically correct.
I’m not sure the exact problem. I feel I’ve experienced this before as I was stating in my last reply. But i put a few seconds into it and it’s not the default behavior at the moment.

I didn’t say I remove the “lowest note”, I said I removed “very low note”! You have a lot of notes, around c0, c1, c2, c4… it’s not just 3 as you wrongly describe.
