    Hey jthree,

You will need to open the tempo track and modify the tempo manually between the blocks. If you have the Original tempo button active, the first block you add to a track will set the track tempo, unless you have a tempo map already set in the tempo track.

For more information about the tempo track, see the last section of 5.4 THE TIMELINE

    tempo-1

In other words (see attachment) as long as I set this button (circled in red) to the tempo I want e.g 120, then even if I drag something in at 130 it will change it to 120 right?  Is this the original tempo button you were referring to?

    Thanks.

Ok, I found it in the manual:

If Original Tempo is active when you drag a groove into an empty Song Track, the tempo of the project will be adjusted to match the groove. If you run EZbass as a plugin, the tempo of the songtrack is always locked to the tempo set in the DAW and the tempo of a groove is ignored.
