Hi,
I am an user of EZdrummer 2 (V2.1.1). I want to use my e drums with EZD but I can’t get the cymbal choke to work.
My drum controller (Millennium MPS 150) sends a MIDI Note for the crash cymbal – that works. If I grab the cymbal to choke I will hear the sample of the choked crash (the MIDI event in this case is only an aftertouch information). So far so good – But then if I hit (or grab) the cymbal pad I will only get the choked cymbal sample. There is nothing I can do to hear the open crash sample again…
My DAW is Reaper which doesn’t filter aftertouch signals. I have tried the possible solutions from this forum but it doesn’t work:

Do you have any idea how to set up the choke cymbals?
