Hi
I’m trying to route EZD2 channels into Cubase Elements 10.5 and just wondering what the best way is.
I’ve seen a Youtube vid and there’s a bit of confusion about the 1st channel which gets duplicated with the 2nd.
Is it best just to select basic mix and choose individual drums from the drumkit page? Guess then selecting presets would change the channel routing again.
Any help appreciated.
I use Cubase 9.5 and don’t have any duplicate channels when routing multi out. Can you post a link to the video showing that? I load EZD2 as a Rack Instrument (not a track Instrument). Activate all outputs (16 stereo outs). They show as 1-16 in the Cubase mixer. Then I route channels in the EZD2 to the 16 outputs.
If you are using multiple outputs from EZdrummer 2 you have the option to use “Preset Sets Routing” when saving/loading your presets from the same library, which means that when you select a new presets, the outputs will be changed to the outputs specified in the preset (specially useful if you have saved a custom preset, with special outputs). If you don’t use “Preset Sets Routing”, your output routing will be kept.
Of course, when you switch libraries you have different mic and channel configurations so you’d need to adjust your multi out routing accordingly.

Thanked by: Dan_85Thanks for the reply.
When naming channels, the EZD2 track is renamed the same as channel one. Shown at around 3.20.
If I name channel one as BD IN then the track for EZD2 is renamed the same.
Is it the same if you load EZD2 in the Rack and not as an instrument Track? When I load in the rack, the outputs aren’t repeated.
