Hello,
Ever since I got EZBass, I’ve had a problem that pops up when I’m using it to play a bass midi file (or sometimes midi for a different instrument that I want the bass to play), and EZBass will sometimes let notes ring out that shouldn’t, allowing multiple notes to be played at once. Most other VSTs I’ve used allow for you to change a setting from poly to mono, so only one note from the midi can be played at once. Does anyone know how I might go about this? I feel as though I might be missing something simple, but I’ve gone through all the settings a million times.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Hi,
EZbass just follows the given MIDI, so it doesn’t stop a note until it encounters a ‘Note Off’ MIDI event. You can edit the MIDI in the Grid Editor in EZbass and adjust the note lengths. An easy way to accomplish something like what you’re asking for is to select all notes and then select “Remove Overlaps” from the right-click menu.
