Changing Articulations in Loops Using Edit Play Style?

Hi!

I can’t seem to find this in the user manual, but is there a way to change the articulations to a drum loop in Edit Play Style? I’m talking about if the loop originally has a snare center hit and you want to change that to a rim. Is there a way to do this? If so, how?

Yes, just right click on the snare when you are in Edit Play Style, and you can change the articulation 🙂

I’m actually confused by this – I’m seeing on youtube you can right click and change the articulation of a groove / block but when i do that, the instrument continues to play the default sound even though another is high lighted.

For example, a groove will have a closed high hat and I want to set it to open, the groove will continue to play a closed sound despite open being selected.  Am I forgetting to enable something?
