Change midi note numbers

Hiya all,

I’m new to midi (midiot). Older dude that’s always recorded acoustic drums. I have the midi drum “track” of a song that was recorded from an e-kit. The hi hat is stuck in a half open swish sound. Is there any way that I can just change the midi number of the hi hat to a closed hi hat? (I think it’s 11).

You can edit the mapping the MIDI/e-drum settings and map the closed hi-hat articulation MIDI note to the note in your MIDI file.
