    Hi Jason,

    could you please elaborate?
When I double-click MIDI on the Song Track to go into the Grid Editor, I just switch to the Pedal Control CC4 lane, if e.g. the Velocity lane is active, hit the ‘G’ key to not snap to grid and then ‘2’ to select the Pen and start drawing.

    Hi John,

Thanks for helping. Ok, let me see if I can explain a little better. I did get the pen “write” to work…it’s just a little slower and not as smooth to me as the version before the update. But here’s my few issues, and I included a few screenshots to hopefully help show what I’m asking. In screen shot 1, there’s a hi hat cc4 move that isn’t smooth, so when I get the pen tool, it doesn’t write over and correct what I want to fix, just adds more nodes to it. My next problem is in screen shot 3. That’s a whole section of a tight closed hi hat, and it sounds that way. However, if I go and smooth out and fix the open/close hat issue in screen shot 1, then I have to go back and fix everywhere lines to nodes aren’t straight or else I keep getting a hi hat that gradually keeps opening up. It’s just very time consuming to fix when you have a 3:30-4 minute song to do. And also when it was very easy to fix before in the version before the update. Am I missing a setting or doing something wrong? Again, I hope I’m explaining myself clearly. Thanks!!

    Jason
