Can’t update EZDrummer to version 1.4.0

    I think I was actually trying to download and install something like version 1.3.2? I also have the Metal Machine expansion pack for which I think there’s another download/upgrade. But, I never got that far, obviously.

    The version 1.3.2 is the full product installer and not the update. What version did you have installed previously? The update is 1.4.0 and is under the ‘Updates’ tab in your account.

    Yeah, I’m trying this again. Really starting to piss me off. My Metal Machine expansion pack is all screwed up now in my DAW. It works somehow, even though I get this error message every time I boot up my DAW. If I can’t get this to work properly in the next few days I may have to just move on to another program. So much for EZD2!!

    Please provide us with more details. All that we know is you couldn’t install the update because of ‘error 1309, or some crap’. I’ve explained above that that error is due to not extracting the contents of the install .zip file.

    Then you say that you ‘download and install something like version 1.3.2.’ To which I replied that that isn’t the update, that that was the full product installer and that there was a 1.4.0 update available.

    Then you say, ‘It works somehow, even though I get this error message every time I boot up my DAW’. What error message is that exactly? Does it work or doesn’t it? What exactly ‘works’ and what ‘doesn’t work’?

    Please provide as much detailed info (exact error messages not guesses, what works and what doesn’t, system details like version numbers as they appear on the EZD interface, what you’ve exactly installed, et al) as you can to help us help you solve your problem.

    which error message? Can you please post a screen shot?
    What exactly did you try again and what exactly is failing?
