Can't solo a dry ride sound in SD3 Progressive Foundary

    You need to route the audio from the Ride into its own channel in SD3.

    • On the drums tab, right click on the ride and select More > Route Instrument Microphones.
    • Topmost, there’s a Close microphone, which usually is a overhead stereo mic.
    • Click the target microphone (on the right column) and select Create New Channel in the bottom of the list.

    Now you should have a channel in the mixer called X-OH something (the X means that it’s a user added channel) .This channel receives the “dry” sound from the ride, which you can mix as you like.
