Cant Save Closed Hi Hat to User Kits ?

Hello everyone.  I have several user kits saved on EZ drummer 2 , but when I call them up , the open hi hat position is default. When I change it to a closed position , and then save it , it still goes back to the open hat. How can I get the closed position to be the default ? thanks.

 

EZdrummer version: 2.1.2
Operating system: Windows 10

Hi,

 

do you mean when you click the HH in the interface? If so, I don’t think that is something that can be saved.

In what situations do you need to have the hi-hat opened? For clicking on the kit for preview? For recording?

As John said, this can’t be saved, because when you play MIDI files, or by playing e-drums or a keyboard, the incoming MIDI notes will tell the kit what openness to play.
