EX Mix is downloaded, I try to register it but I keep getting “Failed Authorization Codes.” I re-entered the serial number and authorization code multiple times – no go. I am running Logic on a MacBook. Please Help.
I also watched the video tutorial – same results – can’t register the product.
Well,
your EZmix is indeed registered, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to download the software but I guess you mean it isn’t Authorized?
According to your account, an Authorization code, ending with ‘523U’, has been issued to ‘Dans Computer’.

I still can’t authorize it. For some reason, I cannot paste the serial number and authorization code into the designated spaces. This doesn’t make sense. Any idea why?
Since I can’t paste in the serial number and authorization code, I tried to type it in. At the 15th character in the serial number string it kicks me out and the space is blank again so I have to start over. I tried typing it in lower case letters, upper case letters, with hyphens, without hyphens – nothing works. I must have tried this ten times now. Help.
What host are you using?
My guess is you are using Logic as this is a know issue with Logic. From the FAQ:
Known issues with hosts
– Logic 8/9: key commands may interfere with typing Authorization code
You can try using the number pad on the right of your keyboard to type the numbers (if your keyboard has a number pad).
command-V doesn’t paste the authorization code?

Yes, using Logic.
Command – V doesn’t paste the auth code or serial #.
I’ll try the number pad and see if that works. Thanks.
The number pad on the right of my keyboard does not help either. What else can we try?
Stupid question, but can you right click (I think apple mouses do this) see paste?
win7x64/i7 860/msi mobo/Reaper x64/8GB ram/profire 610/oxygen 61
as per FAQ mentioned by Scott, Logic 8/9 key commands may interfere with typing Authorization code. So turning them off temporarily or – perhaps more practically – using another host such as GarageBand (hopefully bundled with your MAC?) should help.

I searched around and cannot find how to authorize EZ Mix in Garageband. Does anyone have experience doing this?
