I recently upgraded from the EZD2 demo to the full version, and have a bunch of songs I was working on in Logic that I need to update to use the full version.
When I open the EZ Drummer 2 demo within Logic, it prompts me to save an .ezdp file so I can import it into the full version. So I did that, and the .ezdp files load fine within the standalone EZ Drummer 2 application. But when I have EZ Drummer 2 open within Logic, and go to load…, all my .ezdp files are greyed out and can’t be loaded.
I suppose my question is a two-parter: 1) how do I open these .ezdp files within EZ Drummer inside Logic or 2) is there a better workflow for working within the standalone app and then exporting from there into Logic?
Thanks!
Are you using EZD’s file menu, or Logic’s plug-in preset loading menu? They are two different animals.
