After purchasing Stories for SD3, I did the usual download and install like all of my other kits – no difference, The SDX Sound installer goes through it’s process but when it gets to the “Copying MIDI Files” it goes no further.
After letting it set on the “Copying MIDI Files” for 2 hours I thought that there might be a corruption somewhere, I deleted and redownloaded Stories….same results. I’ve plenty of room on the SSD drive that it’s installing on…I’ve run out of ideas.
Any thoughts would be welcomed.
A corruption somewhere on the destination disk where MIDI is installed is probably the case. It may be different from where the SDX is installed. Open SD3, go to Settings > Libraries/Paths and scroll to the bottom. “Additional Libraries” is where MIDI goes (in a Midi subfolder).
